ANDREWS Captain - United States Air Force Shot Down: October 17, 1967 Released: March 14, 1973 People have been asking me "What is the most difficult thing that you've had to adjust to since you've been back?" My first impulse is to say "Questions like that!' Why? I suppose it's that those years away have prepared me to be more flexible and enjoy life as it comes. And life is full of big opportunities here at home not really adjustments. I'm just so glad to be back where things are more relaxed, more natural and free. My home town is Chico, California where I was born and remained until after finishing two years of college. Next I attended the University of California at Berkeley where I finished as an Electrical Engineer in l963. My Air Force career started that Fall. November 1996 Anthony Andrews left the Air Force after his return home. He now works for a major airline.
