“RAPGA” - The Registered Angora (both AAGBA & CAGBA) and (NPGA) Pygmy Goat Association - has been opened to bring together the owners of goats registered with PCA and PBA, along with the AAGBA and CAGBA. This is the only group designed for the PCA and PBA goat owner to exchange information and ideas in one venue. There will be no discussion in this chat group about the organizations of PCA or PBA, themselves. OUR PBA (White Angora/Pygmy) GOATS

These are the 2nd generation and pure breed mix (first generation is considered a hybrid) of the American Angora Goat Breeders Association Registered Goats (white angora's) and the National Pygmy Goat Association Registered Goats.

OUR PCA (Colored Angora/Pygmy) GOATS
HERD NAME: PYGORA HEAVEN
First generation of a Registered CAGBA - colored angora - and a NPGA Registered Pygmy goat is an F1 hybrid. Second generation is the full breed PCA.
These does are the offspring of a PBA doe and a PCA buck, making them PCA's (1% of PCA in them makes them a PCA over a PBA).
Pygora Heaven Endearment (Endy for short) is standing on her mom, "Gerti" (PBA pictured above is Hawks Mountain Ranch Gertrude.) Her sister, JoyLuck, has her back to the camera. Both were born 2/26/05.

Ginger and Aspen, two of our CAGBA Recorded Colored Angoras we had previously owned, gave birth 4 days apart. Aspen had her twins (boy and girl) on January 18, 2006 and Ginger gave birth to her twins (boy and girl) on January 22, 2006. It is hard enough to tell the mother's apart, but impossible to tell the babies apart! So, we color coded the collars for the babies. Armstrong and Thyme have since gone to new homes with their moms, while Delight and Serenity stayed with us.
Technically, since their sire is a PBA and their dam is a CAGBA, albeit recorded, they would be recorded PCA's. However, since their moms are only recorded and not registered yet, and PCA does not accept recorded PCA's, the kids cannot be registered with PCA until mom's are registered with CAGBA.
They are Registered with Pedigree International as 48% angora and 52% pygmy.
